I am referring to none another than – Kangana Ranaut. What a phenomenal performance as ‘Rani’ in the movie “Queen”. Kangana swept everyone off their feet with an amazing performance. She always has been unconventional and never the typical bollywood masala movie heroine.
She has always been an actress to reckon with and her one after another bang on performance just goes to say how talented she is.
Kangana’s debut movie “Gangster” with Shiney Ahuja got her mixed reactions from the industry and viewers. She faced what every newcomer and outsider does initially but with her not so great soft skills and lack of PR made her road much bumpier than others.
Critics haven’t been kind to her either something that is expected of them as they are not good to anyone. But that didn’t deter her spirit and as they say ‘talent prevails’.
Kangana kept working with dedication and commitment and critics were silenced with each and every performance of hers whether it was her brilliant acting in “Tanu weds Manu” or her outstanding and groundbreaking performance in “Fashion”.
Kangana made heads turn with her appearances and made everyone take notice of her with her performances. Her performance in Krissh 3 was also very well accepted and different.
With Queen Kangana proved her metal as she carried the movie on her shoulders with the backing of only an amazing storyline and a great script.
They didn’t even promote the film to the extent which nowadays films are promoted but as they say a nice movie automatically attracts crowds. The director of the movie is also to be credited for making such an offbeat movie with such grace and simplicity.
Kangana has clearly has made her presence felt in Bollywood earlier but with “Queen” she has carved a niche for herself and gained a different position. She is known for power packed performances and natural acting ability like Vidya Balan.
“Queen” being a simple movie gave a very strong and clear message to the society and taught a lesson in the most unique way. That is to face any situation and to move on.
Watch “Queen” for the scintillating Rani, an amazing story, a great journey and much more. But most of all watch the movie to see a Kangana Ranaut like never before.
