HRIS [Human Resource Information system]- It is a system that lets the company keep track of all their employee and information about them.  It is usually done in a database, or more often in a series of their related databases.

                      HRIS system includes the employee name and contact information and all or some of the following- department, job title, grade, salary, training completed, special qualification, date of birth, benefit selected etc.

                     HRIS include reporting capabilities. Some HRIS track applicants before they become employees. Some HRIS systems are interfaced to payroll or other financial system.
