Novak Djokovic a Serbian professional tennis player who is currently ranked world no.1 by the ASSOCIATION OF TENNIS PROFESSIONALS (ATP).



1. Novak Djokovic won 8 Grand Slam singles titles and has held the No.1  spot in the ATP rankings for a total of 132 weeks. He is the first  male Serbian player to win 8 Grand Slam singles.

2.  Novak Djokovic started playing tennis at the age of 4. At the age of 14, he began his international career winning European championships in singles, doubles and teams.

3. Novak Djokovic began his professional career in 2003. At the beginning he played Futures and Challengers tournaments. His first tour-level championship was Umag.

4. In November 2008, Novak Djokovic played for the Major Title ‘ Tennis Masters Cup’. He qualified and in the final he defeated Davydenko and won the title of Tennis Masters Cup.
