Trading can be defined as an operation involving buying and selling of currencies,
securities, assets etc through a process of continuously quoting two-way prices providing
an instant entry – exit opportunity to all other participants in the market. Entities who
undertake such operations are called traders or dealers. They are market makers since
their presence ensures availability of entry exit prices at all times during market hours.
These entities help to make the market liquid and generally deliver the largest volume of
operations in the market.
