What is a relationship? In simple words, a bond or connect between any two living beings can be called as a relationship between them. It may not necessarily be between two people, relationship between you and your pet can also be considered as one of the kinds of relation. We all value our relationships.
The most common relationships we all share is with our parents, siblings, and with other relatives. Different people value different relations. For some people their mom is very precious to them. While some are close to their dad, some to their grandparents, siblings or even teachers, etc.
Often in life, we do get into temporary relationships such as classmates, office colleagues, people whom we have met on certain occasions. These type of relationships give us temporary happiness. But relationships which have been developed over a long period of time help a human being in many ways such as dealing with stress, discussing problems and arriving at proper solutions, not letting a person feel lonely, etc. In order to strengthen relationships, people often have long talks, hang out at favourite places, watch movies, go for shopping, presenting gifts, etc. These things make a relationship very strong which is cherished for many years or sometimes even for a lifetime.
There are many times when relationships are destroyed in few seconds. Due to problems in a relationship that can be as follows: trust issues, ego clashes, caste/ religion/ difference of status in society, lack of interest in being in a relationship, misunderstandings, etc. Broken relationships often leave people sad, lonely, and depressed.
When relationships face issues there are ways in which people can mend or try to maintain relationships. There’s a saying which goes like this: when a person says sorry in a relationship, it just means that he values the relationship more than his ego. Spending time together, improving communications or even a discussion over a cup of coffee helps in mending relationships to a great extent.
We all need companionship in life. Thus, we should always value our relationships, be there for them in their difficult times. The best relationships are those who laugh and cry together. Relationship with God is very important for each one of us. Prayer, faith strengthens a person’s belief in god. I pray to God that may all of be successful in maintaining our relationships & have the courage to mend broken relationships.
