Henry Cavill and Amy Adams take time out of shooting Batman v Superman to take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge! So far, we’ve seen director Zack Snyder and co-stars Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot get all wet for ALS and now Superman himself has accepted the challenge along with his on-screen love Lois Lane. Stars Henry Cavill and Amy Adams decided to do their challenge straight from the set of Dawn of Justice and figured, why get their own clothes all wet when they could just do it in their wardrobe instead. Yes, Cavill decided to do the challenge while donning his brand new Superman costume, cape and all while Adams was looking very Lois Lane. Adams chose to nominate her siblings to take the challenge, while Cavill remained rather mum through the entire process only stating, “so cold” after several buckets of ice cold water were dumped over his head by members of the crew. As you probably know already, all this is an attempt to raise money and awareness for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. Cavill and Adams are just the latest celebs to take the challenge that has so far raised over $80 million dollars for research and to help those inflicted with the disease.
