Her infectious smile, tall height and bold personality can get anyone awestruck and attracted to her at the same time. When she smiles and it’s rainbows and unicorns and when she stares and you know you don’t want to mess with that chick!

Yes, she is none other than the ravishing Deepika Padukone; who, with her impressive performances has become one of the most promising and popular celeb in B town! So what adds to her cool quotient you ask? Well, there was a time when she wasn’t praised much on her acting skills but she has surpassed all that and emerged as a winner.

Here are some of her most loved films which you shouldn’t miss out if you absolutely love her or think that she is only about the bling and belongs to the no talent zone of actresses.

Om Shanti Om: (2008)

Deepika started her film career with this movie opposite to superstar Shah Rukh Khan and won all hearts with her performance as “Shanti Priya”. Her stunning presence and gorgeous looks just stole the show and her million dollar smile and the elegant wave that she gave in this movie became so popular that it became her trademark.

Love Aaj Kal: (2009)

After a blockbuster debut, Deepika shined on the screen again with a character completely different from that of OSO where she starred opposite to the very cool and chilled out Saif Ali Khan. Her character, “Meera” was the cool and modern young girl who was very ambitious and passionate about her life aims and very practical about her life. The casual attitude suited her a lot and was received well by the audience. The film also hit the box office pretty well.

Cocktail: (2012)

She had to struggle for  a bit after that with some flop films yet her charm and aura managed to attract a lot of audience. Her impressive acting skills burst out with the film Cocktail where she played the role of “Veronica”, a rich and spoilt brat who lived a lonely and depressed life and hid all her emotions beneath the strong and I-don’t-give-a-damn image. Her performance in cocktail brought out her acting skills and she was highly appreciated by the critics. In fact, the film’s success was also a result of her acting. She was in the limelight.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani: (2013)

This film was a blockbuster hit and became very popular amongst the youth due to the plot of the film which was about a bunch of friends living their lives to the fullest. Her performance as “Naina”, the sweet girl next door in the film was praised too, but this time it was more about the film and not about the performances. However, this is a film which simply cannot be missed and is considered one of her best!

Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Raamleela: (2013)

Deepika mesmerized and baffled everyone with her best performance till date in the film Ramleela, opposite to Ranveer Singh, for which she also won the IIFA award for best actress. Her raw and rural character as “Leela” was very strong and intense and completely brought out her brilliant performance which gave the audience Goosebumps.

Deepika has also done many good comedy films like Chennai Express and some serious roles in films like Aarakshan. However, these films have succeeded in becoming the milestones to her film career. She’s the potential of Bollywood and she sure has a long way to go!
