India’s Kidambi Srikant once again proved that Indians are no less when it comes to sports in front of the whole such a moment of pride! … Srikant raised five places to a career-best No.13 in the men’s singles rankings released by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) on Thursday. Though the 21 year old lost two matches in Thomas Cup, his victory but he somehow managed to over ranked German Marc Zwiebler gave him a solid chunk of points and I guess this is what is called Indian Talents.
When it comes to women’s also they are no less in the world of sports… P.V Sindhu re-entered the top-10 by raising a place to No.10. She was seen to be in top form in the Uber Cup where she had five consecutive victories and played a huge role in helping India achieve its maiden bronze medal in the biennial event and I feel the name P.V Sindhu should be made inspiring for all the women’s of the lower levels of the society who feel that they cannot stand shoulders-to-shoulders with men and in the same way for people who have this worst mentality that women’s can’t do anything great should be enough to prove the potential of females in this world.
One more example is of Saina Nehwal who also hit prime form by winning five successive matches and also defeating reigning World Champion Ratchanok Intanon, stayed at Number 8th position.
We feel so much to see the success of all these players and hope that they continue to do the same in future aswell… Way to go Indians!!
