Wimbledon is surely the greatest and most honorable grand slam title in the world of tennis. It is a title every tennis player dreams of. It has made players into stars. It is held in England every year. From 23 June to 6 July would be great time for tennis fans as football world cup has been all around news.

Andy Murray will be hoping to defend his title and got a win in the first round against David Goffin by (6-1 6-4 7-5). Another title contender Novak Djokovic got his win too against Andrey Golubev of Kazakhstan by a comfortable (6-0 6-1 6-4) victory. We should not forget world class Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal who will be playing their games too. In women Li Na got an easy win. It is a good start and the excitement of this Grand Slam will increase as time passes by and Men, Women, and doubles will be battling for the great title.

The excitement is increasing with world’s best in one great country of England playing for the big title. Just the time will tell who will clinch the championship this time round. It is a great month of sports with Fifa World Cup going on for football fans while for Tennis lovers their favorite Grand Slam is on. It’s a vacation time and its time to sit back and enjoy the month of June-July and wait for monsoon.
