An African proverb states, “Every leaf, every ant, every star and every man has rhythm. It is when rhythm breaks that life ends.” This proverb truly has so much depth. Don’t you agree?

In every culture and country, music has intricately woven into  their lives.

Drums are beaten, to proclaim the joy of living. The rustling of leaves in the wind, the water flowing in the brooks, crashing of waves, each of it has its sound. One which makes us realize how splendid life is. It makes us see the beauty in small things. When we are low in spirit, it is music which possess the magic to elevate our spirits higher, to soothe us or we could say de-stress us. Just as a child in a womb is soothed by the rhythmic beat of the mother’s heart. So can music soothe and rejuvenate a tired mind and body.

Music is indeed a gift so divine. Life would not probably be as splendid and as wonderful as it is today without it. What food is to the body, music is to the soul truly!
