The  Consumer  rights  recognized  by  UN  guidelines  can  be  used  as  touchstones  for assessing the consumer welfare implications of competition policy & law and to see how they help or obstruct the promotion of these rights.

The Rights are:-

ü   Right to Choice

ü   Right to Redress

ü   Right to Information

ü   Right to Consumer Education

ü   Right to Healthy environment

ü   Right to Representation
