Foreign Technology Agreements:
Attraction of substantial investment and access to high technology often closely held and to world markets involves interaction with the world’s largest international manufacturing and marketing firms. There is a great need for promoting an international environment where the acquisition of technological capability receives high priority. In the fast changing world of technology, the relationship between the suppliers and users of technology must be a continuous one. With a view to injecting the desired level of technological dynamism in Indian Industry, the Government will provide automatic approval for technology agreements related to high priority industries within specified parameters.
