A new Verizon commercial cites that United States has fallen significantly behind the rest of the world when it comes to the STEM subject i.e. Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. The girls involves less in STEM majors and careers that their male counterparts as women hold less than 25% of the country’s STEM jobs.
This ad highlights the importance of the social cues that push girls away from maths and science in their early childhood days.
