Core Product: It is the primary level of a product. It constitutes the primary service or benefit that a customer is looking for. For instance, a buyer a soft drink buys the refreshment, and that of book buys knowledge. The refreshment in the case of soft drink and the knowledge in the case of book represent the core product.
