Primary capital market
There is no specific market place for this. This again, like in the case of money market, facilitates issue of securities by those who require funds in the medium to long-term. The public issue process is supervised and controlled by the lead merchant banker/bankers in the case of all public issues. Primary market ends with the listing of securities on stock exchanges by the Registrar to the Issue.
