My laborious lost Childhood

child labour

The innocent smile,

an untainted style.

A gullible mind,

just one of a kind.

Shoulders burdened with work,

Crippled by this ugly phase,

He doesn’t dare to shirk.

Back ache,head ache,injuries and creases,

Everyday the misery increases.

A childhood desiring heart lost in the folds of time,

Why make him feel his childhood is a torment,a crime?

So repulsive are these fangs of child labour,

Doesn’t he have the right to relish and savour?

Deprived of freedom and love,

this celestial being decides to surrender to the Almighty above.
