Madhuri Dixit or we can say her as dhak dhak girl as when you see her your heartbeats increases is an Indian actress who is well known for her contribution made to Indian cinema. She went on to establish herself as  one of Hindi cinema’s leading actress, acknowledged for several of her performances, her performances & her accomplished dancing talent.


Madhuri Dixit was born on 15th May 1968 in Mumbai, India to Shankar & Snehlata Dixit in a Marathi speaking Chitpavan family. She attended Divine Child High School & Mumbai University to study microbiologist. She is a trained kathak dancer &great admirer of art.


Madhuri made her acting debut in Rajshri Productions movie Abodh which was released in 1984 the film failed at the box-office but Madhuri got a positive response from the critics. Her only release in 1985 was Awara Baap which turned out to be another failure. Till 1988 she appeared in many filmed but they also bombed at the box-office but in 1988 she rose to stardom by the film Tezaab which turned out to be blockbuster. In this movie her dancing as well as acting skills was well appraised after that she had given many which boosted her career & she achieved to the level of superstardom. In 1990 she acted in movie Dil which gave her the first Filmfare award & after that she delivered many back to back hits such as Saajan, Khalnayak, Beta etc. & it was the year 1994 in which she was in all time blockbuster Hum Aapke Hai Kon..!Which was the highest grossing film at that time & she been recognized internationally.


In the year 1995 show a downfall in Madhuri’s career which show a steep lower phase against her successful film career but she fought this tough time back &starred in Dil to Pagal Hai which let her won her fourth Filmfare best actress award. & after a few ups & downs she is now ruling the television as a judge.
