Were you expecting to top in the exams? To whom would you credit this success to?
I was really not expecting that I will be topper of my college. The credit for my success goes to my Mom and My Mam Mrs. Akansha Nikam without them i wouldn’t have achieved this.
Did you prepare religiously from day One or A few weeks before the exams?
No. I prepared during last 15 days.
How did you allot time to different subjects?
I studied as per chapters i.e. I set target of chapters to be completed in particular day.
Can you share some insights on how to crack the subjects before exams?
Understanding the subject i.e the concept is important. The easy subject for Sem 6 is Indian Management Thoughts and Practices and International Marketing as well as Retail Management.
Brief answer should contain Definition then Head points later its explanation and last but not the least conclusion. Case studies should be read by any students for 3 times and they should alocate 45 mins to case study.
I think Vipul Publications textbooks are good in content as well as language.
Do you think BMS student require coaching classes or is self-study enough? Had you joined any coaching class for a particular subject?
Yes the BMS students require coaching for practical subjects such as International Finance and Operation Research
I had joined Mahesh Tutorials for my TYBMS
Did you participate in college fests or extra-curricular activities? Do you think a BMS student can manage both studies and extra activities?
Yes I participated in Volley Ball team and I was also won the the of College Princess.
We are Management students so we can manage both the things easily.
Did you pursue any additional courses/ internships alongside BMS?
No I was completely enjoying my studies and last year of the college.
Today, we often come across students committing suicide out of failure, depression or tension of exams. What do you have to say about this? Did you use any special techniques for stress management?
The students who commit suicide are selfish according to me because they think about themselves but not about their parents.
The best way to release stress is by doing some activity which gives us happiness like I like cooking so whenever I am upset I prepare food for my family or for friends.
Do you think the number of Industrial visits should be increased for BMS Students? Which industries have you visited?
The present numbers of IV are enough.
Do you think BMS students are flooded with assignments, projects and internal exams round the clock? What changes would you like to bring in the BMS Curriculum?
No. To earn 40 marks you need to work and for that you cannot complaint. Since we are management students we should manage our time.
What message would you like to give to the next batch of BMS students?
If you want to score good then you need to concentrate upon studies no matter what is going around you.
What are the future plans post BMS?
Right now I am doing my Masters.
