From quiet some time it is said that India will soon be a superpower. People talk about new Industries, Improvements in infrastructure, Greater connectivity, strict law, Technological advancement, Education, Unity, Powerful government, Productivity, Resources etc. These are the things that are required to make a country a superpower. But does India have all these things.

India is a massive country. It is a country having huge diversity. There are different types of people, different culture, languages, religion and lifestyle.  It is important to have unity among everyone to take this nation forward. There has been development in infrastructure but still there is no electricity nor roads or railways in many rural areas. There have been technological advancements but still an Indian doctor or engineer would prefer going to US instead of working here. There has been improvement in Education but there is also massive unemployment. India has got massive resources but it is underutilized. As per the government is concerned it’s a new government and people have high hopes on it. Only time will tell whether it is a powerful government or not.

India needs to improve and it can improve by the combination of government and the people. It is easy to say that India is not there at the position it desires to be but there is a huge potential especially with this new government and young people of India. It’s in India’s destiny to one day be a powerful nation. May be after 7-9 years we can still ask this question again, India is it there yet? And may be at that time the answer might be YES.
