Former Zimbabwe skipper and a highly talented cricketer now join as a bowling coach for the Bangladesh team. The team will enjoy learning new tricks and tips from their coach and gain a good opportunity of improving their bowling skills under the he’s guidance. Streak is expected to arrive in Dhaka in the first week of June. According to his statement released by Bangladesh Cricket Board which says “I look forward to the challenge of working with the Tigers and thank the management committee for giving him such opportunity” it seems like striker is quite excited to work as the bowling coach for the Bangladesh team.
According to past records of Heath Striker has represented Zimbabwe team in 65 test matches and 189 ODI’s. So as his past record we can say he can turn to be a good coach and prove gainful for the Bangladesh team based on his experience in cricket. Heath also states that it is quite exciting for him to be back into international coaching arena again and it is his passion to coach at an elite level.
Streak has signed a contract in which he has agreed that he will available three weeks earlier to provide coaching to the team members before every series and will prolong he’s stay with the team before the 2015 World Cup. He will also provide consultancy service to the other teams under the BCB.
