Tell us about yourself

Friendly, enthusiast, self-motivator, idealist, not so punctual…That’s me & of course there is more to be said…not enough space.

My college is situated in Bhandup. It has carved a niche for itself in this part of the city. Proud of my college…of course not everything is to be praised about but still I love it.

BMS life has taught me many things, which contributes to my holistic development & makes me the person I am…

Happiest-when I was selected in the core team of our intercollegiate festival …best experience. Saddest –when our first co-ordinator resigned. She was role model. Memorable- the moment when I got maximum votes & got elected as a class representative of the class.

Who in your life has influenced the most?

Mrs. Lata Swaminathan, our advisor/consultant.

As a BMS student, what changes would you like to bring in management education?

Current management education system is marks focused, whereas learning & educating students must be the main aim.

What would you advice someone planning to do BMS?

A very good course, introducing students to all industries & business. But does not specialize on any particular industry or skill.

3 Questions you would like to ask an MBA?

1) What is the course all about?

2) What one should keep in mind while pursuing this course?

3) How has MBA helped you develop yourself?

What are your future plans?

Do a post graduate degree/diploma course get some work experience & learn business & finally becoming a successful entrepreneur & contribute to nation progress.

What are you expecting out of BMS?

As far as my experience is concerned, I never got proper guidance for any of my project work or Industrial visits. So, I suggest that University should issue some guidelines for the same.

How is What help should it provide in future?

A very good initiative, useful, informative. I would like following things to be added in website-a job portal of internship opportunities for BMS students. Information on books to be referred & website helpful for all subjects of BMS, career guidance, etc. But it is a great website & very helpful & informative.
