Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia’s controversial case has been going rounds in media for quite a while and now it seems even the underworld is getting involved in the case.
As per media reports, Nusli Wadia, father of Ness Wadia filed a complaint after he got a threat call from the underworld. The underworld don threatened to harm the Wadia Group if Preity Zinta is continued to be harassed.
Preity Zinta filed a complaint in June 2nd week against Ness Wadia for molesting and abusing her in Wankhede stadium on 30 May 2014.
In her statements to the police, Preity said that during the match, Ness came up to her, grabbed her by the hand and started using abusive words in front of other spectators.
A case under sections 354, 504 and 506 (assault on a woman, intentional insult and criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered.
Preity and Ness broke up in 2009 but they still continued to be business partners in IPL. They dated each other for 5 years and the relationship between the bollywood actress and industrialist never materialized.
Maureen Wadia, mother of Ness Wadia always hated Preity Zinta and publicly acknowledged as “zebra” and made life tough for the love birds. Ness clearly being a “mamma’s boy” failed to stand for Preity during their relationship days.
Preity is very outspoken and stands by what she believes in. Ness’s non-commital stand didn’t help matters. Speaking her mind and hugging the team mates after winning the IPL matches didn’t really go well with Wadia’s.
Post breakup, Ness Wadia has been linked to Nargis Fakhri then Hannah, a heiress from the Middle East who seems to have got approval from his mother Maureen Wadia. Will the present molestation charges affect the relationship or is it just another publicity stunt to get fame, only time can tell.
