The exam for Level 1 is of objective type, consists of two 3-hour examinations having 120 questions each.
Level – I examination is held in June as well as in December. A student can take as long as he needs to complete the program, and there is no limit to the number of times he can take each exam.

Total Cost i.e. Program Enrollment and Examination Registration varies between $1020 to $1435 depending on the time of Registration. Examination Centre in India:
In India examinations are conducted in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Chennai. In addition the CFA® certification examination is also conducted in the capital cities of some of the neighboring countries.
