An Interview with Pradnya S. Pujari, TYBMS Sem 5 Topper, Bhartiya Vidya Bhavans Chowpatty (76.67%)
I never studied to top the exams. I study for myself. I credit this success to my dad and one of my best friends. I started preparing a few weeks before the exams. I followed a self made timetable and allotted 2-3 hours a day for studies. Practice Financial management and Special Studies in finance from day 1. For theory you should understand it and can write down in your own way rather than mugging up. I don’t think BMS students require coaching classes. I participated in college fests and extracurricular activities as I am the Event head of my college. I think BMS students can manage both studies and extra activities because BMS is all about managing and out of the books also if you have a close look towards the book, it’s just not theory it’s all about how you study and apply in practical world. Giving up or commencing suicide is not the solution. You should never give up in life. Its better you start studying right from the start for few hours a day and if you are weak in studies. Do things which you like to do which makes you happy i.e. listening music, reading, dancing – acts as stress busters. I have visited Sugar, Cotton, Paper, Iron and Rice mills. BMS assignments and projects keeps you engaged in studies and you learn a lot. BMS is not only about studying theory but also the activities which you manage. I would like to do MBA after BMS. BMS.co.in is really a very good website specially for BMS students.
