I feel there must be very few people who enjoy playing chess because most of the people think that it is quite boring and even I had the same thinking before but once you start playing this game you come to know that how much interesting this game can be and how much efforts and concentration one has to put in order to win this game.
When you talk about chess the first name which comes to our minds is that of Grand Master Viswanathan Anand. He has lightened our countries name with lot of pride and honour in front of the world by winning the Chess world championship. The recent news from the world of chess is that the World championship match between Magnus Carlsen of Norway and India’s Vishwanathan Anand will take place in November 6 but is still in search of suitable venue.
D.V Sundar however assured that world championship would be held as per the schedule. “We will find a venue soon. Sometimes such things do happen but FIDE (world chess governing body) is confident of staging the World title match at the proposed time”
Still even the important work of finding suitable sponsors is also left for the World championship match involving a charismatic reigning champion like Carlsen and a popular challenger like Anand has surprised the world.“It quite shocking and surprising that a match featuring Carlsen hasn’t any takers at all” said veteran Grandmaster Pravin Thipsy.
Hence we hope that organizer soon find a suitable sponsor and venue for this interesting match of chess championship to take place.
