The technological revolution in telecommunications helped the organizations to use internet as a source of recruitment. Organizations advertise the job vacancies through the World Wide Web (www). The job seekers send their applications through e-mail using the Internet. Alternatively, job seekers place their CVs in the world wide web/internet, which can be drawn by the prospective employers depending upon their requirements.
Advantages of e-recruitment include:

- Reduction in time for recruitment.
- Increase in the selection ratio i.e. recruiting more candidates.
- HR professionals can concentrate on strategic issues.
- Increased rate of ‘collaboration among the recruiting agencies and
