A Doctor by profession who writes more than prescription – Author cum Dr. Rachit Bhushan

Excerpts from the Interview with Dr. Rachit Bhushan, an author of ‘Long Distance Relationship’ and ‘By Losing you I found how much I needed You’

I am just an ordinary guy next door……you can say an ordinary guy with extraordinary dreams. By profession I am a resident doctor in Cardiaosurgical unit of Apollo Hospital and besides that I am an author too.                                                          

I was never a writer, nor even had any wish to be an author someday. In fact people may be surprised to know that till date I have not even read a single novel. There were some difficult moments in life, where I lost someone dear to me and faced failure in career for a while, lost health and it was then that I decided to start writing and blogging. People encouraged me to go ahead with it and today I am an author of a national bestseller named ”By losing you I Found How Much I Needed You” and upcoming book named ”LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP”                                                                                              

Well, I know it is hard to believe but I have not read a single novel till now because I don’t get much of time from my profession but yes very soon I will start with it. At present the only books I prefer to read, are those which are based on surgeries.

a]I am a very romantic guy

b] Apart from being an author, I have acted, I am a doctor, have sung song in recording studio, have done modeling for a while, have been good at sports and dance too

c] Everything I achieved I owe it to my family-my mom, dad, sister.                                                              

About Long Distance Relationship Novel:                                                                         

I won’t like to reveal much but all I would say is: It is a beautiful, sweet and romantic love story of teenagers that teaches you the basics of life and also that love just does not mean to stay together.  

Future books: 

Right now…..haven’t planned much…..but will soon start working on the script of my third novel…because I believe in the line ”The show must go on”.                          

My message to the aspiring writers is—

Have faith in your work and believe in your strength. Never forget your roots even though you attain greater heights in life. Be sincere, honest and hardworking and someday you will lead the world.
