Essentials of Bailments
- There must be delivery of goods: Such delivery may be actual or constructive.
- The delivery must be made for some specific purpose.
- The delivery must be made on condition that the goods shall be returned in specific when the purpose is over, or disposed of according to the direction of the bailor.
- Only possession but not the ownership of the goods is transferred.
Examples: Delivery of a radio for repair.
