Well, below is the common list of students’ complaints against the functioning of Mumbai University:
1) Delay in issuing marksheet after revaluation:
Final year students after passing the ATKT exams always complaint that they haven’t received the clearance letter and revised marksheet from MU even after 6 months to 1 year. This creates problems while giving job interviews as companies ask for final marksheet which is still kept safely in Mumbai University.
2) Convocation not received:Â
After passing the graduation exams, students should receive convocation certificate in 4 months. It becomes 8 months to 2 years at times when students don’t receive their convocation certificate which creates problems for Jobs and further education opportunities.
3) Delay in Revaluation results:
Revaluation system is worst as MU displays revaluation results after around 8-9 months of the date from the result declared. It makes no sense as a student still has to struggle and study for the ATKT exams as well as his current exams making the situation complicated for a student to concentrate on both exams.
4) Pending Duplicate Degree Certificate:
As per the rules it takes 2 months for the duplicate certificate to be ready. Students complain that inspite of several reminders, it takes more than 6 months to 1 year to receive the duplicate copies of the degree certificates.
5) Results not declared on time:
As per rules, MU should declare results within 45 days of the exam date. For many courses, the results get declared within 2-3 months.

Sir I want to take admission in commerce bms I have filled the online form also but I culd not get the name in any list and now I tried to go ofline for admission they use to teel that the seat is not available for you I told them im inhouse student of this clg they use to teell me that seat is not available please provide us extra seats and solve this probelam soon
I am a student of sybcom of N.M. college (vileparle). Our college is terrifying the students for attendance. Very honestly we have much more important thing to do than attending bcom lectures which play no role at all in the career development of a student and the growth of Indian Economy. We face lots of difficulty in doing C.A. course due to this attendance problem. And ofcourse C.A. course is something which a poor student will pursue to brighten his living. If attendance regulation were to be implemented in the strictest sense, then why do other colleges like H.R. and Podar are not debarring their students? It means that there is totally autonomy of individual colleges. So its a humble to relax the attendance norms or atleast give an exemption to the students who have pursued C.A. or similar course. Sir please understand our problems and bring an amendment forthwith to that effect.
I want to change my college in sy b.m.s. 3rd semester.. i gave an application for it in april there was was last list on 20th june.. the difference between closing percent nd my my percentage was 1.35 percent.. i dont want to continue in this college plz help…
Worst university ever, never declares results on time, delays in revaluation for as far as 8/months to a year. No concern for students career, only.corruption.
i am not able to take admission in professional coutse due to two result i am having two result bcz i have missed to dubmit evs project book i have wasted 1 year for this now saying only for b.com u eligble totally 62 % in every colg b.com seat full

I am MCA Student. I have completed my MCA except 4th semester in one subject.
Some person from Mumbai university asked me for money to pass. I don’t give money so Mumbai University Kalina tries to fail me again and again for taking money from me.
Even if I scored higher in all other subjects.
Fraud university please stop getting bribe from students.
