“Nanhi Chaan” – Harsimrat Kaur Badal

Born in 1966, she is a sikh, very brave and honest in her thoughts, holds a diploma in textile designing, wife of Sukhbir Singh Badal  & a mother of 3. She started her political career with Indian general elections, 2009. She is the member of parliament from Bathinda. Her political party is called “ Akali Dal”. She was preceded by Paramjit Kaur Gulshan. Her in – laws are from a political background. Daughter – in –law of Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal. She was elected to the 15^th Lok Sabha from Bhatinda constituency; defeating Congress candidate Raninder Singh by 120960 votes. In her  1^st speech she focused on 1984 Sikh riots. She is a member of Committee of estimates. She joined social justice and empowerment. She also stared a movement called “Nanhi Chaan” against female infanticide & to save trees. She was appointed as member of standing committee on food & public distribution. She is now the union Minister for Food Processing in the Govt Of India.

I guess with such a short cum detail information of the lady of dignity & respect  you  already know,  to  whom my fingers are pointing to.. She is Mrs. HARSIMRAT KAUR BADAL.
