Anna Jarvis, the founder of Mother’s Day suggested the idea of celebrating Mother’s Day in honor of mothers and motherhood in 1907. She succeeded in making this nationally recognized in 1914.

People all over the world celebrate Mother’s day by giving cards, gifts or flowers to their mothers, some prefer to dine out and some prefer to spend the whole day with their mothers.
