Limitations of Taylor’s Differential Piece Rate Plan:
- In Taylor’s plan, there is no guarantee of minimum wage payment to employees.
- It is rather harsh to workers who are little below the average.
- It treats workers not as human beings but as machines.
- Trade unions oppose such plan because distinction is made between the workers as regards wage payment. This plan also breaks the solidarity of employees.
- Workers are affected when production is disturbed due to certain reasons which are beyond their control. Their salary payment will reduce without any fault on their part
It kicks out inefficient workers from the organization.
