Amazon finally brings its Kindle Cloud Reader to India. Using only the web browser on the device, this free Kindle reading app allows the user to read Kindle books instantly. The application enables the user to read books either online or offline with no download or installation required.
Just like other Kindle apps, automatic synchronization with Kindle library is done through user recognition. Resuming reading from the same page he or she has left is also a feature of the app.
Amazon also managed to include features like making notes, bookmarking and highlighting for all Kindle books.
Kindle Cloud reader is available on all common desktop browsers like the Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer. It is also available on Safari for iPad.
The user can also view, add, edit notes, highlight and bookmark which has probably been made by other Kindle apps to the book being read. One also has the option of revisiting and searching inside the book to find a particular topic, character or selection.
The Kindle Cloud Reader offers some interesting features which allow the user to access the book being currently read offline with the additional function of saving the book to be read offline at any time.
