An Interview with Neelam Sadashiv Shelar, TYBMS Sem 5 Topper, Modern College (74.33%)
I like practical subjects rather than theory. I like to spend time with friends and after BMS, I want to go for ICWAI or MMS. I would credit this academic success to my hardwork only. I started preparing before few days of exams. I allotted 2 hours of day for theory and 1 hour for practical subjects. For theory, try to cover all the concepts. FM and HR are easy subjects. To solve the case study, try to solve it by following a format which will improve the quality of your answer. I had joined classes for FM and SSF. But its upto you whether you want to join a class or not. But now after passing the exams, I feel that classes are not necessary and self-study is sufficient. I participate in all college activities and I feel BMS students can manage both studies and events. Additional courses are just for gaining knowledge. Committing suicide out of failure is totally wrong because failure is the first step towards success only you have to work hard and try to give your best. For stress management, I spend my time with my best friends. I have visited Kingfisher and Vishal Cables. I feel the number of Industrial Visits should be increased to improve the knowledge. I think Professors should provide some interesting assignments and projects to encourage BMS students enjoy the course. Enjoy your college life but alongwith proper studies.
