Government of Uttarakhand recruitment has published notification of 350 vacancies for Police Constable and Fireman in Police Department.
Candidates who can fill the vacant posts can apply through offline mode on or before 1st March 2014.

Age Limit
Candidates applying for the post should be in the age group between 18-22 years as on 01.01.2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates should pass Intermediate or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Candidates should also possess the following physical standards :
- For General/OBC & SC candidates -165 cm
- For hilly area candidates -160 cm
- For ST candidates- 157.5 cm
- Chest -165 cm
Selection Process
Candidates applying for the Constable recruitment will have to undergo Written Test and Physical Efficiency Test based on which selection will be done.
(Written Test -50 marks, Physical Efficient Test -50 marks)
Pay scale
Selected candidates will be offered a pay band of Rs 5200-20200/- with Rs.2000/- Grade Pay per month.

- General candidates – Rs 60/-
- SC and ST category candidates- Rs.15/-
- Note – Fee should be remitted in Treasury.

- Interested candidates who can fulfill the required eligibility can apply in a prescribed format with all necessary attachments with the application form and send the filled application to the office of Superintendent of Police of the concerned district of Uttarakhand. Candidates can also submit the filled application in personal.
- Candidates should paste recently clicked photograph in the application.
- A valid email ID of the candidate should be mentioned in the application.
- Application sent after the last date will not be accepted.
- Application found to possess false information will be rejected immediately.
