Rohit Shetty has become the first director to shoot at the Gateway of India post 26/11 terror attacks for his upcoming film Singham Returns. He is always known to bring out hidden places which are never shown on-screen by any other director. He also loves to blow up cars, everyone knows that now!
Rohit Shetty has shot in the exotic corners of Mumbai as the story of Singham Returns revolves around the City of Dreams. He has shot in iconic sites as well as unexplored remote places and bylanes of Mumbai to bring out the real character of thy city.
The team has shot in places which are rarely seen on the silver screen like Reay Road, Cotton Green, Urankhanwadi Chawl, Mahim Durgah, and JJ Flyover which are very difficult to shoot at owing to the places being crowded.
Singham Returns which features Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor is produced by Ajay Devgn films, Rohit Shetty Productions and Reliance Entertainment, and is slated for release this Independence Day on August 15, 2014.
