Farhan Akhtar, the Rock On star turned 41 on 9th January 2015.
Reports say that he celebrated his birthday this year along with his cousin and film-director Farah Khan who turned 50 the same day.
Several B-town celebs like Abhi-Ash, Vidya-Siddharth, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif to name a few were present.

Yeah! You read it correct. Farhan, who was studying law from the reputed HR College, Mumbai was kicked out from college due to lack of attendance.
2) No Life Goals.
As he was kicked out of the college, Farhan had no future plans and he spent next few years just by watching movies. His mom used to complain a lot but no one knew that he would become one of the finest actor, director, producer, screen writer and what not…
After dating Adhuna Babani for 3 years, the couple got married in the year 2000.
4) About his career.
Like many other directors, Farhan too started to work under the Yash Raj banners as an assistant director for Yash Chopra’s “Lamhe” . “Dil Chahta Hai” was his directoral debut. While, “Rock On” being his first films as an actor.
5) Getting serious about his career.
Farhan unknowingly started the trend of remaking the Bollywood classics. Farhan Akhtar directed “Don” which became one of highest grossing film. ( Even after the critics giving negative reviews)
6) Being M.A.R.D.
Farhan Akhtar started a social campaign M.A.R.D. – Men Against Rape and Discrimination in 2012. The campaign was given a positive feedback from Bollywood actors like Hritik Roshan and Shahrukh Khan.
Farhan Akhtar has two children named Shakya and Akira.
8) Year 2015
The 41 year old actor will be seen in two Bollywood movies this year. He will be seen with Amitabh Bachchan in “Wazir”. He will also be seen in film “Dil Dhadakne Do” which is said to be directed by his sister Zoya Akhtar.
