In times of instant packages almost for everything we are becoming quite addicted to it. And when it comes to planning our travel too, there is hardly any exception. But studies have revealed that the tendency of hurrying can lead to a chronic ‘hurry sicknesses’.
Heard of the term hurry sickness for the first time…….right???? Well then let’s get into a brief detail about it; The need for speedcan diminish the quality of our lives with no time for leisure, travel & the simple joys of life.
Thus, as an initiative to curb this tendency, a movement has been started worldwide, called Slow Movement. Slow travel is a part of this movement. Slow Travel asks holidayers to take it easy, visit one place at a time & reveal its glory in deep. When travelling, if we have an itinerary laden up with too many things to be done, we are only left with exhaustion in hand and stressed for the rest of the tour. Also such conditions increase the risk of heart diseases among men & women less than 25 years …
So the foremost thing: DON’T PLAN YOUR HOLIDAY (in utterly great detail)..!!
For that no matter where you travel, in India or abroad, just follow this simple ‘SLOW ITINERARY’. I hope you will return doubly rejuvenated.
1) Overlook a valley by an evening & watch a sunset tuning into night.
2) Sunbath for long leisurely hours on the beach with your favorite book & a mock tail by your side.
3) Don’t always order foods from the hotel you are staying, buy some quick grocery & indulge in barbeque in the lawns.
4) Stop anywhere you wish, be it a lush green meadow, stretched paddy fields or the bustling market & enjoy the moment by getting absorbed in it.
5) Simply lounge around a pool or chill at a hill side resort.
It’s all about welcoming the ‘nothingness’ in your agenda. Because, normally we find it quite hard to afford…
