Economic batch quantity (EBQ), also called “optimal batch quantity” or economic production of units that can be produced at minimum quantity, is a measure used to determine the quality
average costs in a given batch or production run. A refinement of the economic order quantity to take into account circumstances in which the goods are produced in batches.
