CBSE External exam for Class 10 has started from 1st March 2014 and it will end on 19 March 2014. If students have opted for personal school based exams within CBSE, the exams may begin from any date from 10th March 2014 and will end latest by 31st March 2014.
CBSE Class 10 exam 2014 will be more or less same for both candidates opting for school based or external based board exam. Question papers, content, level of difficulty and marking scheme is going to be same for both exams. The only difference will be the evaluation of answer sheets. School based exam will be evaluated by teachers within the school and external boards will be checked by external teachers. Students will receive the same certificate irrespective of which exam format they choose. Students who opt for school based exam can change schools based on empty seats and not through single window admission system.
