Types of Charting Techniques:
1. Line Chart: The closing prices of successive time’s periods are connected by lines and no notice is taken of the highs and lows of stock prices for each such period.
2. Bar Chart: The analyst draws a series of vertical lines each line representing the price movement for a time period which may be a day, week’s month or a year.
3. Candlestick Chart: These charts shows the stocks open, high & low for each time period in a modified three dimensional format.
