Considered to be the world’s best cell phone; the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) product iPhone has an anticipated continuation to its smartphone series that is the iPhone 6. Rumored to launch soon, the iPhone 6 has been subjected to leaks regarding its size, shape and specs.
According to the rumors, the iPhone 6 is to come in two sizes, 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch. The iPhone 6 is to have an improved camera, the A8 processor and iOS 8 software also. A new leak in the last week said that the iPhone 6 would be having rounded corners like the iPad Air, iPad Mini and the iPod Touch.
Apple’s marketing strategy relies on secrecy; such leaks aren’t good for the tech-giant. If such leaks keep on continuing, the competitors would get ideas regarding the product and they can find alternatives to beat the device. Apple Inc. is attributed to third-party accessory makers, suppliers, manufacturers and designers. Getting suppliers and other third-party vendors to tone down leaks isn’t easy. So, in order to stop these leaks, Apple has hired 200 security officers and also tied up with Chinese authorities to increase the secrecy.
The iPhone 6 is rumored to be launched in September this year.
