Stress Interview: The stress interview is to see how a candidate behaves in a difficult situation. The interviewer assumes a hostile attitude towards the candidate. The candidate may be asked questions in rapid succession, questions may be put on his answers, he may be criticized for some of his answers, his arguments may be rejected outrightly and so on. The purpose of such an interview is to see whether a candidate keeps his cool under stress situations, what is his reaction to hostile situations, etc., The interviewer must be an experienced person otherwise such interviews will not prove useful.
