When things go wrong,
but they always do..
you try so hard,
but there’s nothing you can do!
When you put up a brave front and go all out,
thinking this was the last,
no disappointments now..
comes up another volley,
of fatal blows…
and time could be so trying,
you had never known.
When the chips are down,
yet the stakes too high..
you try to rise but it’s so difficult you cry!
Giving up is easier,
giving up is fine,
not all were made as brilliant as Einstein.
But didn’t Einstein struggle too?
his famous tale of the light bulb always breaking into two?
they say he gave a 100 chances,
to his trusted aide,
don’t break it this time,
he always said..
and it took his aide,
all of 100 frustrating goes,
but at the end of those 100 who ended up as the winner,
we all know!
So know I tell to myself today,
giving up might be easy,
but that’s not my way!
I’ll be adventurous and I ‘ll be brave,
I’ll give myself a 100 chances even if I fail;
and another 100 if failure continues to greet me over,
someday my never failing smile will win failure over!
