What are techniques of self development?

Various techniques like mediation, yoga, satsang help us develop Icept and respect all our ourselves. They are discussed below :

‘Yoga’ : In Sankrit ‘yoga means union. ‘Yoga’ unites our `atma’ with that the body is unreal the supreme soul i.e. the paramatma. It cleanses our mind, controls our permanent. Attachment thought process and thus ultimately leads us towards our actual reality i.e. our divine self. This state is known as Sarriadhi.

‘Yamas’ i.e. eternal vows. According to patanjali non-killing, the sense objects and truthfulness, non-stealing, continence and non-receiving are called Yamas. These unbroken by time, place. purpose and cast-rules are sarva-bhauma – mahawratam, universal great vows.

Meditation is essential for today’s managers. These managers face would then be able to various situations in life where there are so many problems, so many mes one with God and complexities, so many clashes !!!

They become disturbed, annoyed and stressed. By practicing meditation they can face life in a better manner because then their mind will he same manner to his be balanced, harmonious, as all the distorted thought pattern in their mind will be purified and balanced, full of love, compassion, healthy detachment, goodwill and joy. This mind will always take positive action.

Another technique to keep our mind in its true colour i.e. pure, one without any blemishes is to join spiritual discourses or `satsang’. These discourses help us to understand that all individuals are basically ‘one’ i.e. Advaita concept or non-dual concept, therefore the need to be good, humble, compassionate, empathetic towards others, sharing joys with others, become easy.

Vipasana is one of India’s most ancient meditation technique, followed by Gautama Buddha, reintroduced in 1969 by Shri S. N. Goenka. It means insight i.e. to see the things as they really are.

This is a process self-observation which purifies mind, helps to find the cause of suffering and to attain liberation from suffering. It results in a balanced mind full of love and compassion and thus leads to a peaceful and harmonious life.
