If you want to improve your health and get your body feeling good and strong, You don’t have to starve yourself to lose weight; in fact, you shouldn’t. Just follow the advice below properly!
- Eat a Balanced Diet
Include a healthy balance of nutrient-rich carbohydrates, protein, fruits, vegetables, and dairy products. This will help make sure your body gets the right balance of the vital vitamins and minerals it needs in order to keep you strong and healthy.
- Don’t Skip Breakfast !
Start your day with breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. People who skip breakfast are more likely to snack impulsively on calorie-laden foods. Skipping breakfast may lead to one or more risk factors, including obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes.
- Exercise !
You can exercise whenever possible, like doing jumping jacks or crunches during television commercials or dancing or riding bikes or playing Frisbee or Football, aerobics, this burns extra calories. Ride on a cardio exercise bike for at least 20-30 minutes for each session. Exercising for less than 20-30 minutes doesn’t help much on burning fat.
- Quit Bad !!
Drinking and Smoking or other type of Drug or Tobacco helps to gain you more calories than anything else. It is an havoc to your health. Quit it Soon.. !
- Say ‘No’ to Junk Foods !
Keep junk food out of your house and away from your desk at work. Eating sugar sweetened beverages like chocolate, cake, brownies, potato chips, ice cream, fizzy drinks or any junk food, contain little or no vitamins and minerals, and are often high in fat which offer no nutritional value. Eating too much junk food can make you miss out on nutrients your body needs such as fiber and protein. From a weight loss perspective, eating a balanced diet helps you stay full, improves your immune system, and gives you energy to exercise.
- Eat More ‘Fruits and Vegetables’
If you feel hungry, use vegetables, fruits, and beans to satisfy your hunger. The more vegetables you eat, the more weight you lose, Focus more on non-starchy vegetables, which have higher nutrient density than starchy vegetables such as potatoes and corn. The best vegetables are the leafy green vegetables, such as kale, collard, mustard, turnip greens, watercress, bok choy, and spinach.
Fruits are very high in nutrient content and can be eaten ad lib without worrying about portion size. All fruits are good, but the best are the berries: strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries.
- Walking – A Must
Walking could help you lose weight in your stomach, you must burn more calories daily than you consume. If you add atleast 30 minutes of brisk walking or speed walking will burn the most calories in comparison to leisurely walking. You could burn about 150 more calories a day.
Yoga is like a miracle drug. Yoga is a sophisticated tradition with physical, relaxation and breathing exercises. It can help you feel sexier, focus at work. Your metabolism will be raised through the weight loss yoga activity and you can see body shaping changes and even weight loss.
- Avoid Habit of Late-Night Eating
Resolve not to eat late in the day or after dinner. Your body does not process food differently after dark, but nighttime tends to be the most sedentary time of the day, when your calorie needs are minimal. As a result, Eating after dinner tends to pack on the pounds.
10. Drink More Water
Drinking water is the best drink for weight loss and for your health. This doesn’t mean that you should go around guzzling water nonstop to avoid dehydration. Drink atleast 8 glasses of water a day. Avoid drinking any soda, sugary, caloric beverages or even potentially diet-breaking diet.
*Consult a physician or dietitian before adding supplements to your diet plan, as multi-vitamins and supplements are not necessary for everyone, particularly if you follow a balanced diet.
