In your child hood even if you ever took a glimpse of a moment in order to store it in your memory, then you my friend are a photographer. Wherein words fail to say much a photograph can talk hours and hours without tiring.
It can be any photo let it be the millions of selfie taken every day or the child hood photo you took decades ago or else a superb lensmens artwork. What all these photographs have in common are stories to tell in a single frame.
This is what makes a picture on the celluloid more valuable than a painting hung on the wall. Like any story has certain characters, place, timelines, a photograph too has its own traits i.e. Aperture, Shutter speed and ISO all of which play a very important role in the composition of pictures from light.
Photography has now become a language of its own the language which speaks to people of any country region, religion, and cultures and unites them on one ground the language of sight. But how could I be one such visionary? A person who can see things differently? Well the answer is “see a story”.
When you can see the freckles on old ladies face or a child crying in the arms of his sister, that there is a story an emotional connect anyone and everyone in pain. But what about the landscapes?, The famous windows wallpaper “BLISS”.
Well there my friend is the other part of the story. It’s a simple question to answer but a tough one to think upon. Let me give an example here why do you take your girlfriend somewhere near the seaside or Go to a hill station? For the simple reason a breath taking view.
When you see a magnificent object place in the frame of your eye you see the frame what god made in his image. Much like a 3d printed model kept in front of you as your object. With the advent of tools like DSLR ‘S, action cameras, fpv (first person view)etc. One can easily see a new world of possibilities in imaging and can tell stories of places never imagined.
While concluding this topic I would just love to mention to you as too why the story is important in photography, Its only because you can see thing with your eyes but a blind photographer tells the story behind all his pictures.
