Mumbai is the economic capital of India. It is a city where people all around India come to try their luck to become successful. It is a city which has fulfilled dreams of many and even now, Mumbai is a city every Indian wants to visit once in a lifetime. Though this city has industries, multinationals, stock market etc, it has some of the best tourist attractions.

1) Gateway of India

People arriving in Mumbai from boat see Gateway of India structure. It is situated in Mumbai at the sea-shore of the Arabian Sea. It is a tourist attraction for people who visit Mumbai.

2) Elephanta Caves

It is an Island located in the Arabian sea. It contains caves having Hindu and Buddhist idols which show their culture and religion. It is 10 kilometers away from Gateway of India through boat.

3) Essel World

Essel World is situated in Gorai, Mumbai and is one of the biggest Theme Parks in India and millions of people visit it every year.

4) Chowpatty

Chowpatty beach situated in South Mumbai and is most popular beach in Mumbai. It is with the Marine Drive and is a great attraction for children, couples, teenagers, retired people.

5) Marine Drive

Also known as the Queen’s Necklace is 4 kilometer drive from narimon point to chowpatty beach. It has the beautiful view of Arabian Sea.

6) Worli Sea Face

It is a popular destination contains a great view of sea. There is the famous Haji Ali at Worli which lots of people visit.

7) Mahalakshmi Temple

It is a famous temple of the Hindu Goddess of wealth Mahalakshmi and people visit this temple and wish for prosperity and happiness.

8) Siddhivinayak Temple

It is a popular temple and is one of the richest temples. People believe that visiting this temple will fulfill their desires and aspirations. It is a temple of Hindu god Ganesh.

9) Powai Lake

It is a lake situated in Powai. The Indian Institute of Technology is situated near this lake.

10) Nehru Science Center

It is India’s largest Science Center. It was opened by Rajiv Gandhi and therefore it is named after him who was prime minister of India in 1979 when it was opened. Kids and Science students love to visit it and increase their knowledge.
