  • Tell us about yourself, your background, why you joined BMS andwhat do you plan to do after BMS.

I am a fun loving person I like to make friends.I think B.M.S. is all about effective communication so I think I can convince people easily.

  • How does it feel to be a Topper of the college in Semester exams?

There are mixed feelings I feel proud that I Have topped in exams and that’s the proof that I am clear with my studies but on studies but on the other hand I feel bad because my close friends feel bad that they did not top .That gives me a feeling of division from other students.

  • Whom will you credit your success to?

I will credit my success to my other. She is always there for me and my teachers for guilty me in the right direction.

  • Did you start preparing from the first day of your / SY?

No basically i don’t start from the first day. I start from 15 days prior from the exams.

  • How did you study for Sem III?

I don’t go on byhearting the things. I just keep a check on the concepts and write the answers by my own I never mug up or by heart.

  • Which are the easy subjects inSem III?

Management accounting, marketing management.

  • Any special way of writing the answers? Do you write answers in bullet points or in paragraphs?

I write answers in bullet points so it becomes for teachers and others to understand easily.

  • How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?

While we learn the theory we need to connect the case study to the theory part and then we need to frame our answer.

  • Did you draw any diagram in any paper? Is it mandatory? Does it help to get more marks?

I want to say that writing 2 pages of theory will not make us quickly understand but through diagrams some concepts can be explained easily.

  • Any specific study pattern adopted i.e. timetable / how many hours per subject per day etc.?

It depends on my mood. When I feel active I study for 5-6 hours per day or sometimes whenever I am sick or bored I study only for 1 hour.

  • How do you fight against mood swings and distractions during exam preparation?

When I get mood swings I study easy concepts so that makes me little active

  • If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education system?

I would like to make the theory part of B.M.S. more practical as in our B.M.S. we have more preference to theory. So I would like to allocate 50 marks to practical. I would keep internships compulsory so that they can get a complete exposure. We can have more than 2 IVs to corporates so that students get more exposure to corporates. The internal 25 marks which can be shifted to making a presentation or a model on corporate themes.

  • Many students prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college / not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to these students?

College doesn’t  matter even if it is a big or small college. Studies remain the same as the portion is allocated by university as the circuricullar activities differ from college to college. Language is only a barrier only in 11th and 12th after that we get used to it.

  • Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition? What is your message to the upcoming BMS students?

About the competition it is a race. If you don’t work hard you will be left back this try to connect BMS practically so that it becomes easy to score marks and gain marks.
