1) Tell us about  yourself:

Hi, my name is Brijesh Dubey. I had always liked Commerce as a stream and so after Junior college, I chose BMS because it was a mix of everything I wanted to study. It gave me an opportunity to figure out my likes and interests. I intend to pursue an MBA in marketing after a couple of years of work.

2) How does it feel to be the topper of the college?

It feels amazing. It was unexpected for me but it was always my dream to become a topper of my college.

3) Whom will you credit your success to?

My teachers who were always there whenever I had any doubt. Especially Meena Mam and Shakshi Mam. And also to my parents especially my mom who always ensured that I give more and more time to my studies and all my friends especially Vivek Dubey who helped me a lot.

4) Did you start preparing from the first day of your TY Sem V?

To be very honest, it was not since the first day that I started studying. But yes, I did my bit everyday, attending lectures regularly and practicing regularly.

5) How did you study for Sem V?
Attending lectures and doing the homework was the trick to crack FM. I just had to prepare for the theory which I generally do by reading the matter a few times and memorizing the key points.
6) Which are the easy subjects in Sem V?
I think SSM and marketing.
7) Any special way of writing the answers? Do you write answers in bullet points or in paragraphs?
I write all answers in bullet points as writing in paragraphs is very time consuming and most of the time it is difficult to highlight the gist of the matter. However if a bullet point is not self explanatory, I do explain it in 2 or 3 lines.
8) How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?
I tried to relate concepts covered in subjects with the given case.
9) Did you draw any diagram in any paper? Is it mandatory? Does it help to get more marks?
Yes sometimes when it is necessary diagrams should be used to make answers more presentable. It helps for easy understanding.
10)Any specific study pattern adopted i.e. timetable / how many hours per subject per day etc.?

I had made man timetables but always fail.
11) How do you fight against mood swings and distractions during exam preparation?
I always used to listen some music or take a nap and then get back to studies with a fresh mood.
12) If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education system?
I would bring back the 60-40 pattern. I would make presentations compulsory in each and every college as it is something which enables the students to explore themselves.
13) Many students prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college / not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to these students?
I would like to say that if you are contributing 100% from your side then it doesn’t matter that you are from any language. Just face the challenge and prove yourself. And always remember “stay hungry and stay foolish”.
  14) Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition?
Face each and every challenge, don’t fear and you will definitely get success.
15) Your feedback/suggestions for BMS.co.in?

BMS.co.in is an excellent site, it has helped me a lot whether related to projects or keeping me updates on my courses and through this site, the initiative of connecting the students of different colleges is appreciated a lot. I would like to thankyou BMS.co.in.
